A movie adaptation of the 1981 children's book Chikashitsu kara no Fushigi na Tabi. A strange man in a black formal clothing named Hippocrates appears in a basement room. He says he comes from a neighboring world and came to renew a land contract. Akane and her aunt Chii go with him through a portal into his world and go on a wonderful fantasy adventure.
